Paris France, May 29th, Roland Garros
Despite poor weather throughout their visit, and little Tennis being played, AWF were able to further strengthen their relationship with the French Tennis Federation and establish concise goals for a collaboration. Mr. Wallach, on behalf on the French Tennis Federation understands the value and importance of university education amongst their member athletes. “Plan B is an absolute must, we can not all become Tsonga!” Mr. Wallach mentioned.
AWF Vice President, Ash Smith was pleased with the developments at Roland Garros “Mr. Wallach, on behalf of The French Tennis Federation has set an example in his vision, for all sport Federations within the European Union. Dual Career Pathways are a hot topic within the European Union right now. Federations are encouraged to put forward their proposals, to qualify for funding grants, toward the development of Dual Career Pathways. AWF provides a solution for Federations, and we invite others to contact us. We are enthused to finalise the appropriate method of collaboration and deliver the AWF Dual Career Pathway for French Tennis players”.
